It’s great quality, has an amazing look and finish, and it’s perfect for anyone looking for value.

This Katana sword is a finely honed blade of carbon steel. Perfectly shaped with all of the attributes of a truly great sword.
When I first drew the sword from the scabbard I was thinking for a moment that I should be dressed in white.

The edge of the sword it quite keen so be careful. If you want to learn how to properly draw a Katana from the scabbard there are some good teaching videos on the internet. Be careful and mindful that the sword blade is very sharp. Don't forget the proper procedure and steps for drawing the Katana and also for safely placing it back in the scabbard.

The sword is the real thing. It is not a plaything so therefore,keep the children away. This is strictly an Item to be enjoyed by mature adults that can respect the traditions and awesome, fearsome power of a properly wielded defensive blade.

This sword is not for everyone. But if you are serious about getting an authentic Katana for display or serious adult training this is the ticket. I am well pleased.
Recommend:
A great value in a well made sword. and a nice item for a collection. These swords are made for a specific purpose. You must respect that and keep the sword away from younger children. Avoid tragedy.

I really like this classic weapon and have already engaged in training with a friend. He is a fine instructor.

Almost 3 lbs in weight (Katana, Scabbard & Guard). Shows this is a true steel sword.

The look of it is just flat out AWESOME! Even down to the blade which is dark colored.

You can see from my pics the workmanship and detail put into the handle (Tsuka) and the Guard (Tsuba) is very nicely ornate.

The hanging cord (Sageo) is also top notch. They spared no expense in the detail behind this sword.

Very authentic looking down to every detail. Impressed.

This is my first black blade katana. It's quite a beauty - there are no etchings on the blade or the scabbard, just an elegant black finish. It feels good in the hands and is very sharp. The Sageo is nicely tied and the katana has an elegant guard.
Very nice.
It did not come with the display stand shown on the product page, only the katana.

If you're into katanas whether you're an anime fan or not, this a genuine lethal weapon, it's a katana. As far as cutting, it's uber effective against wood and it's really sturdy. My only problem is that after the original 20 or 30 openings/unsheathings the scarb is pretty loose and you need to be careful. Otherwise, it extraordinary how much they're under selling themselves
