The katana is beautiful to look at, and it feels wonderful too, however that’s as far as it goes in terms of getting what’s described. At first I was surprised by the price because the description reads t10 steel, Bo-Hi and authentic sting ray handle. However what i received did not have Bo-hi, or authentic stingray. It’s easy to tell because authentic stingray feels very hard and has a certain sheen to it. Whatever this was felt soft and lackluster. It is still beautifully crafted so if you don’t mind the deceiving description it’s worth the buy. My biggest issue is Vee Katanas customer service. It’s almost non existent. When i received my katana set, it only came with the katana and it was missing the tanto as I had purchased the suit. I contacted customer service and they just said sorry we’ll send you the rest of your order soon… Then when i emailed them about how the katana was not as described they just disregarded it and said the katana is made out of t10 steel, then i explained about the bo-hi and fake stingray and they just said sorry we don’t know what that means please send pictures… I sent a few examples and they just responded with okay thank you for your feedback we’ll address these issues. I asked what that meant and they just never bothered replying. Overall it’s a decent sword if you’re not expecting too much but you can honestly buy this from other katana shops for even a lower price. That being said i’m a katana enthusiast and was excited to give vee katana a chance but due to their terrible costumer service I will not be buying anything else from this store.

Received it quickly, arrived in good condition and was well protected for shipping/handling. Didn't know at the time, but if I wanted the characters in Japanese then I needed to type in the actual Japanese characters...there isn't a drop down menu asking which language. Fortunately, I was send a message in time for them to correct it before shipping it out.
